The museum demonstrates the Cracow’s history duaring Hitler and Stalin’s terror in 1939-1956. There are shocking inscriptions on the walls of authentic Gestapo cells. The exhibition “Cracow 1939-1956” is comprised fotos, documents, propaganda posters and other private things, which were made by prisoners, weapon, uniforms, and objects related to Jewish ghetto in Cracow. The last part of the exposition presents communist party’s actions after the war.
Opening hours:
May – October: Tue-Sat 10.00-17.00, two Sundays a month the museum is closed
November – Aprile: Tue,Thu-Sat 9.00-16.00, Wed 11.00-18.00, two Sundays a month the museum is closed.
Saturday – admission free.
